Merchant: Goes Straight to the Sales Menu

I just downloaded the Trade Routes and Trading and Barter Mod, and I do like the idea of their concept. Unfortunately, it seems as if I've hit an impasse that I can't get around. For instance, if I go up to merchants to talk to them, it automatically draws me to the sales menu, and I can't talk to them about a quest or if I want to stay the night for ten golds. Is there a way for me to fix this problem?
