dismissing followers

So I made the switch from xfl to ufo and I uninstalled xfl properly however in my older saves where I had fol.lowers with xfl they have the dialogue of a someone who is following but they dont actually follow and I cant dismiss them

 

I've tried set followercount recycleactor and diable.enable do I have any other options or are my older saves just borked all I need to do is dismiss them so I can have them follow me again
