Its not tied to the mod but its still needed to bring your feet out of the ground. Anything between  6-8 looks fine.

Looks great.  I noticed in Tes5Edit that you have keyword for Heavy Armor but it is described as Light Armor.  It won't affect gameplay and works great as heavy armor, just a misnomer on the item description in-game.
