Redflyingmonkey Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Hi ! I've been having issues with ENBs, anything other than the 0.108 binary simply does not work for me. I've followed scrupulously everything on the installation indications, put 'em files in the skyrim folder, tried the injector, tried changing the path on the inis, the game simply does not accept it and crashes on load. Like, I get the windows error message "Skyrim stopped functioning", without even accessing the main menu. Now I know there is some mistake I've done, since I managed to make it work once on Polo Enb, just to try it, and it did work. I'm trying to install Seasons of Skyrim ENB right now, and no success so far. I'm playing on a laptop, with AMD Radeon graphics. If someone has any idea or experienced the same issue and managed to solve it, please help me out !Â
Uriel Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 You've probably got another graphics card(the IGPU), and ENB is trying to launch on that POS.
Redflyingmonkey Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Yea I've got an Intel and my AMD, but the 0.108 binary somehow manages to make it work on my AMD though ... I think it's just something with the enbhost.exe and the later dlls, I have to do something specific to make it work, but I can't remember it.Â
Redflyingmonkey Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Niet ! Only binary working is 0.108 and 0.119, any other simply crash the game  Â
Uriel Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 It's not ENBhost then. 13.7.13 does not have it. Have you tried DirectX web update? On some systems this can be an issue.
Redflyingmonkey Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Everything up to date yes. I think my laptop just won't recognize those fancy new binaries, guess I'm stuck with 0.108 !Â
hryh23k9823u Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Just fyi enb doesn't seem to work with Radeon Pro you need the old good catalyst in case you were using Radeon Pro. Also you should try DisableDriverMemoryManager=true under [MEMORY] in enblocal.ini, not that I think it's related to your problem directly but certainly needed for amd gpu's anyways.

I have catalyst too Tried disabling what you said and no luck either ! Tried installing the same enb on my friend's computer exactly like I did it on my own, and it worked on his PC (he's got a GTX 780 TI, so I'm wondering if I don't have a hardware issue ? It's weird though considering the ENB I use atm is as fps hungry as the one I'm trying to install)
