hey this is a simple esm file to help get the famous gas mask's of the world into fallout 3 it still requires the meshes and textures from the new vegas mods its really easy but any questions let me know. when extracting the new vegas mod's meshes and textures extract the textures and meshes from the main file into to your fallout 3 data folder then extract and overwrite those files with the update 1.1 to get the 8th mask both new vegas files can be found here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49475/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D49475&pUp=1

sorry for making it sound so complicated its really easy

once all of that is done to get the masks ingame enter the item codes into the console using the console commands in the picture below it has a small tutorial also

the file i have uploaded contain's nothing from the original mod i made it for fallout 3 and no meshes and textures where used from the original mod but they are incredibly easy to get and thank mister "TheLozza" by endorsing his file

the mask in the screenshot is the 8th mask and with this esm the masks cannot be found ingame ( yet update 1.1 will be soon) but console commands have no negative effects in fallout 3 so go wild and these make for good kinky masks if set up right as hair and hats can still be seen while most masks are equiped i highly recommend taking a picture of the console commands to make it easy for yourself

I notice that the esm seems to add the gas masks to Raiders via a leveled list. Does this work with F3 as well or is it just "turned off" somehow? You don't mention it above. I'd love it if they were added that way but I don't want to mess up the leveled lists either.

so far im trying to this esm is like a beta my game is really mod heavy so its difficult to see raiders with certain equipment but a good testing area is the raider base next to dukov's place thank you again pal and i made this esm because to me fallout 3 beats nv by a long shot

Cool, I really prefer when new items are used by NPCs. I'll go Raider hunting then!

 

And I agree. I don't like FNV at all - I've only played it once - but I think F3 is a masterpiece.

The gasmasks look great in themselves, but I have rather severe clipping issues with the ones that come with a neck. like this:

It's a female char and I'm using the T6M body, but the issue seems to be beyond being caused by me using a body replacer. I've never seen anything like it.

the neck with the mask appears to be male have you tried to sf10 mask on a female?
