Marriage specific conditions

I have a few questions regarding marriage:

 

1. Are membership of the PotentialMarriageFaction and a high enough disposition the ONLY requirements for marriage? Most of the vanilla candidates have a quest that needs to be done before they can be married, but does the game actually check for completion of these specific quests, OR does it just check the disposition that goes up as a result?

 

For example,

 

can I marry Muiri without killing Nilsine (and without setting quest completion in the console), just by changing her relationship in the console?

 

 

2. Some NPCs belong to the FavorExcludedFaction (e.g. Karliah, Sapphire, Vex), which I assume makes them unmarriable. What happens if I remove them from that faction, add them to PotentialMarriageFaction, then use setrelationshiprank? I understand that some of them do not have the voicefiles, but would they still be marriable?
