Is anyone else getting annoyed that more and more games seem to be coming out with Local CO-OP only?

It's annoying as most of the games are pretty decent but the local co-op stops me from buying it, let only 2 copies so I can play it with a friend who I play them all with.

Well there is the lego series to start with. Good games just local co-op.

Then there is Vampire Hunters.
