drakishar Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Hello guys. This is my first "working" mod, after blender editing . I downloaded Dynasty armor from http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5733 and then started the editing process. I want to have a real body under that armor not just an texture recolor. I have splited the armor in 3 parts, cuiras , legpads and arms . For now i didn't finish the arms since i deleted too many verticles. So in Blender once i separated the cuiras and legpads, i removed everything else except this 2. Imported a femalebody_0.nif in it and adapted the meshes to it. Added materials, skins ..etc and exported , after i imported the robesf_0.nif for skeleton . Then i deleted the female body, and imported in blender femalebody_1.nif. Basically this time i mostly scale the old mesh, but i had to do some editing on breasts and arse because of the body . Yes i am using CBBE at the moment, and there is do DMRA yet out ( love the C type from Thor tho, can't wait for release ). Worked the nif magic on both files and started the game . Still have to fix some clipping issues, but once i solve the weight problem. Loaded the game and everything looks great with the weight slider at minimum and at maximum. Anything between gets messsy . Strange thing is that when the weight slider is at 90% , the armor size in game is actual near to the minimum size, and then when is close to minimum size, the armor is increasing near the maximum weight . I do not know exactly where i went wrong with it . Nif file : (replacing the nightingale just for testing) Screenshots : Weight slider aprox 20% armor size near the max weight : Weight slider aprox 40% : Weight slider aprox 90% armor size near the min weight :
drakishar Posted January 12, 2012 Author Posted January 12, 2012 Partially solved. I join together cuiras and legpads and reapply the weight script. However, when both are 1 mesh, they won't scale with the body properly. I had to scale it up, in order to adapt it to the femalebody_1 , aka full weight, using CBBE . Please close the thread .
