Boss error...please help

hello everyone...I need help please...I uninstalled some mods...did a clean save....and I'm trying to install some new mods with NMM but I'm getting a boss error..." a problem occurred during install...boss_api_error_file_not_found: "sophitiafollower.esp" cannot be found! the mod was not installed"....this is one of the mods that I uninstalled and I'm trying to install a completely different mod when I'm getting this error? for the life of me I can't figure out whats wrong? I even uninstalled boss but it didn't help.... any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you

try to find out which mod is causing this, for this purpose i actually use a patching utility that came with the mod "dual sheath redux" from the nexus

it tells what is missing and what mod requires it, otherwise you have to deactivate your mods and slowly activate them in groups of 5 to 10 till you discover the cause

Look in your Skyrim Data folder for a folder name of obmm, if you have this folder there is a file in there called loadorder.txt , delete this file and it should not have any way of checking for a current load order.

maybe I didn't explain myself properly...I'm  not having problem with my mods...its when I try to install a mod that when I'm getting this error...my game is running perfect....any mod I try to install this error comes up? also....I found the loadorder.txt and deleted it but it didn't help. thanks

downloaded newest version of NMM and it seemed to fix it.....go figure.....thank you very much for the help

Update.....i also had older version of boss and updated that also and everything works perfect.....hope this helps other people who have problems
