Kaz Aanh Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 That question also intrigued me. But probably its going to be like this: Import nifs to blender/3ds > positioning/reshaping > uvmap creation > weighting? if hair is long > export. Lets wait for more experienced guys.
romualda5 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 If I try mix hairs I take nif from one hair and nif from second hair and rename it to hairline for first hair. Sometimes this give me super combined hair.

FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I am very interested to learn more about making hair in 3dsmax! I did find a couple of tutorials on YouTube (one for Skyrim, others for Sims), but it does seem pretty complex. It's something I'd like to tackle when I have time - I will keep an eye on this thread!

I tried it and the 2nd hair is floating in my head D:... all I did is open two hair files in nif then save them with hairline+hairname D: edit: on my 1st try I changed the x value of the 2nd hair to make it look good on the 1st hair.. but as a results it is floating in my head... on my 2nd try I tried everything again without touching the x,y,z values but only the 1st hair is showing up D: what to do? D:

romualda5 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I must find my notes, but today is to late I write tomorrow.
romualda5 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 OK I find it. It was SG hair : haircarl.nif + hairline moonrise.nif But it isn't good choise because front of hairs don't go in the same way. I think it must be better short hair.
TomahawkChop Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 hmmm.. gonna look at it later... tnx for it and hope everything works like what you always do :c
