hdt hair bug please help

i have a problem with the hdt hair could you please tell me how to install it properly i keep getting a line of hair following my crosshairs im literally trying to fix it 2 months i did 11 clean installs i downloaded every type of hdt extension and when the glitch happens the hair moves the way its ment to but the line of hair makes it so immersion breaking  p.s i also tried it with all races

Did You make the SKSE/Plugins Folder, and install the HDT-PE .dll file?

Are You using a current version of SKSE, either 1-07-00 or 1-06-16?

Do You have the XML Files in Meshes\characters\character assets\hair\havoc physx?

I have to make a Save after using showracemenu or character generation to fix the stretching, I load the New Save and My character has a working Ponytail.
