Monitor and Keyboard

I was looking for advice on a monitor.  New Egg has a promo for the following Acer, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009534&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL032014&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL032014-_-EMC-032014-Index-_-LCDMonitors-_-24009534-L0B.  Opinions?  Other monitor recommendations?  Would an LED HDTV be a decent option?

Also, need recommendations for a keyboard and mouse.  USB plug-in 2.0 or 3.0.  I would like a keyboard that isn't too expensive but also not a cheap piece of garbage.  I don't care if has illuminated keys but I do like the different color keys for WASD and arrows.  What do you use?

I've decided against the HDTV idea and have focused on these three monitors in mind.  Do you see any red flags with any of them?

BenQ RL2455HM.  Seems like a nice overall monitor, it's claim to fame is the 1 ms GtoG.

Asus VS248H-P.  There are a whole raft-load of Asus monitors in my price range.  They are priced well and seem to receive favorable opinions from owners other than wobbly displays it's hard to find a lot of negatives.

Dell E2414H.  I could not find this one on the Dell site so I'm guessing it's an older model but it seems quite nice and Dell also receives high praise in general in regards to it's monitors.

In my personal opinion, I would go with the TV, you can reduce the clutter in your room by having your console, PC and cable/Satellite be all in one.  Plus, I love gaming and surfing the web while sitting on the comfort of my lazyboy recliner, lol.  I can also have an American Football game for example playing in a small Picture in Picture screen while I'm gaming.

I do game on my 55" 1080p 3D HDTV and Skyrim with ENB/HD textures and many other games look really nice on the big TV :)

Thanks for that thought, Spartan.  I already have a small game room of sorts.  Originally I was going to have this new build pc set up in there.  I don't have as nice a TV as you, I own a much older 50" Sony LCD 720p HDTV, I have been using it mostly for Xbox 360 and an ocasional movie or football game.  The thing is, the only hard-wired connection to the internet is in my office, everything else in the house is wifi.  I'd like my gaming pc to be hard wired.  Having said all that I think I've finally settled on a monitor.

Unless I find something better today I will get a 27" Acer with a VA panel, it has a nice matte screen, VESA compatible and it's only $200.  The only thing it's really missing is an HDMI connection, which I would prefer.

Acer has another set, it's a bit more money, maybe $230, the same size and it's an IPS panel which seems to be the most popular currently.

Finally, I found a real nice HP set, it's only 25" but it's right up my alley with all the features I'm looking for except a VESA connection and it has a glossy screen.  This one is $200.

Anyway... I figure if I would like to try out Skyrim on a big set I could always take my PC to the other room and give it a go.
