Made standalone for all hairs here. Use either hair pack -allhairs-.esp or the two esps in the optional folder if you experience ctds in show racemenu. Let me know of problems.

The hairs work great when starting a new game but locks my game up anytime I use showracemenu. Where are these 2 other esp files in this optional folder?

Just wanted to pop in and say thxs these hairs look a hella alot better than the old ones I had. Just wish the extended sliders mod would work with the Oreaze Race im using them on lol well ill be keepin an out out for more of what u have to offer now i wont have to scavenge the net and some of the Foreign sites to get me paws on them. ^-^

I get freezes when changing genders in helgen when first creating a character, only the sliders freezes mind you, the character model still moves, and I can move the mouse. I've tried having the plugin near the top of my load list, and at the bottom, the same thing happens. any help would be great.

If you are using more than one ESP for hairs try and disabling the smaller of them until the sex change works. I have also had this issue come up after adding some eye textures that were 5 MB each.

 

Also your load order is important. For hair mods I have them loaded near the top, after lighting mods, but before all crafting mods and mods that add armors and weapons. I also have Extended Colors loaded right after the hair mods. You could try running BOSS to sort your load order, but it will most likely not recognize all the mods you are using.

Hello, i downloaded the all hair.. but saddly each time i'am trying to go into the racemenu my game crash :'(

The only mod that I know that isn't compatible so far is extended eye color selection.

I have problems with all hair, too. When I want to go into the race menu my game is crashing to desktop or is freezing.

 

I use extended slider colors. Changed the load order but it doesn't fix the problem.

All of you having issues might want to try reinstalling Extended Sliders using the Hair Color Only option, or even reduced colors. You can also try disabling it to see if that is causing the issue.

 

I'm starting to think this might be texture related though. I think the game engine shits out when it has to decompress or load too many textures, and it seems like showracemenu is inspecting all the related resources when activated. I have had the issue appear when using larger eye textures, and disappear again after doing nothing but removing the larger textures.

 

Whether this is dependent on available system memory or not, I have no clue. I am just not that technical.

The problem I'm having is that the hairs aren't even there on the slider. Just all the vanilla hairs and that's where it ends.

The hairs work for me, but I had to wait up to a minute after hitting "showracemenu" for my game to finally load them all.

 

My suggestion: Find ways to trim out the hairs you do NOT want to conserve loading time.

Thanks a lot. The 'hair color only' option solved the problem... but I have a new one. When I want to change to a human race (only for female) the game is crashing.

@ Endiness I'm also getting a crash when allhairs ESM or ESP is loaded. Pretty sure it is due to how many hairs it has since I can swap to the Replacers to standalone ESP it works no worries. Don't know why it wouldn't work for me if it's system resource based since I'm running 16GB of Ram! Then again I don't think Skyrim will even recognise or use much of my Ram anyway... anybody know if you have to run a particular command to enable large address awareness or is it on by default with the latest patches. Guess I'm going to have to edit the ESP or ESM and remove any hairs I don't love until it's small enough to load properly. Shouldn't really be any conflicts since the only Mods I'm running is UMP Slim Body, Envision Face and the highres DLC (added to my skyrim.ini so that external files will overwrite of course)

The game should only take 2 GB Ram with standart Options, there is a 4GB "fix" at nexusmods.com. But 16gb ram are hardly ever used XD nobody need more then 8GB.

 

There CAN be problems with Race-Mods, Skin-Mod AND Hair-Mods alltogather in the "showracemenu".

 

My guess:

Missing textures/meshes in the Mod or double placed Hair in the Mod.

There can be problems too.

Thanks, but we know those hairs from Oblivion, and I don't think it's what he's searching for. (It's the only Saber hair available at the moment, but it look horrible...)

I've talked a bit with the creator of the Saber armor mod, seems like the screenshot of Saber Lily hairs is a WIP by the chinese team "Arrow & Knee". Since they uploaded one of their mods on the Nexus, there is a good chance that they will do the same with their hairs.
