Adding Items

Can anyone tell me how to add armors into the game after I've installed them with NMM?

 

I tried player.additem but the codes that the person who gave me the mod didn't work, instead I got Ebony armor...

Then all you should have to do is figure out what item it is replacing.

perhaps it was an ebony armor replacer? did you try the ebony armor on.....

 

 

assuming you don't have any other mods.. go into your skyrim directory... (\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data) and see if there's a mesh folder, open it, go to armors or clothes (whichever) and then check what the name of the folder within there... (eg if it is ebony, than sure enough, the armor was an ebony replacer)
