CeeTeeDee Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 hi, I get an error when starting skyrim with the skse_loader.exe when using hdtskyrimmempatch.dll. "the program can't start because msvcp110.dll is missing" strangely enough when I start skyrim using wrye bash (same skse_loader) I don't get the error. any ideas?
Uriel Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Install Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables. If your OS is x86 - install x86 ones. If it's x64 - install both x86 and x64 versions.
Slammer64 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Go here and download the redistributable package from Microsoft, it's for Visual Studio 2012: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679
CeeTeeDee Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 ok, also any ideas why running skyrim with the mempatch .dll enabled opens a .net tcp port listener? no wait let me guess, my .net/c++ installation is nerfed?
Uriel Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 No idea, you better ask in New Update 2014/2/28 thread. BTW, what's in your skse.log when it fails with an error?
CeeTeeDee Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 nothing is in the skse.log itself, not pertaining to the dll atleast, windows returns an error that the msvcp110.dll cannot be found, then skyrim runs as usual, but the hdt dll isn't running... if I run it from wrye bash, all is well and everything works... its definitely OS related
