Guest GuyWhoAbruptlyDisappeared Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Hi, I love the mods on here. I don't, however, love most of the dialogue for the mods. Linguistic errors and inconsistencies that wouldn't bother most people greatly annoy me and can take me out of the game. I want to change the player's text of a couple of mods, primarily Sexlab Submit and Sanguine's Debauchery, and possibly change the responses of the NPC to different ones, while not interfering with the scripts at all.I want to do this for myself only and have zero intention of uploading it anywhere.Do I need to edit scripts to do this? Or is there an easy way? On a side note, I'll ask this here too since you guys are generally more helpful than The Nexus: I also want to change the scripts for Enhanced Blood Textures and make bleeding happen faster and last longer. Does anyone know how I could do that?
Cyndi Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 You shouldn't have to mess with scripts at all to change dialogue. Granted however, that I've never tried with the ones you've mentioned specifically. Open the mod in question in the creation kit. If you look in the object window, and expand the following -> Character -> Quest -> 6th from the top is Dialogue. Some stuff obviously, will be in the other sub-categories of the quest section. From there it's just hunting down the entries you want to edit. If you scroll through, watching the count column, the ones directly edited or added by the currently active .esp will have an * beside the number there. I have no remote clue about the side note though sorry.
Guest GuyWhoAbruptlyDisappeared Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Ah, didn't realize modders used the CK so much. Thanks!Quick question - Modding the player's responses to make them consistent with Skyrim's dialogue was pretty easy - but how do I change the NPC responses?
