Question about Wyrebash

Hi

I normally use NMM to manage my mods, but I have Wyrebash too, I used it mainly to track down issues with crashes due to mods, but I've noted that everytime I open Wyrebash and afterwards, when I return to NMM, the load order of my mods is changed, I'm pretty sure it's Wyrebash doing, and my question is if, well, first, if I'm right about it, and second if there's a way to disable that, because Wyrebash is very useful so I don't want to stop using it, but that rearrangement it does is very annoying.

Thanks in advance and sorry if the post is in the wrong category.

do you use BOSS to control the mods esm\esp load order ?

Nexus page http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6

actually download page http://boss-developers.github.io

If you do use BOSS then there should not be a conflict with Wrye Bash and NMM

as both "should" use the Load Order Master List from BOSS.

IF YOU DO NOT USE BOSS (though you really should) then

Wrye bash defaults the esp load order by what mod was installed first (IF you installed it with Wrye Bash)

if you installed the mod with NMM then open wrye bash it see's the esp but has no ideal what it is

or what order it should be in. so it just shows it.

If you sometimes install a mod with NMM then sometimes install with Wrye Bash and you DON'T use BOSS

things can get screwed up as both fight each other for the load order.

I have been using Wyre Bash sence 2007 and have never found a reason to install OBMM, FOMM or the new NMM.

(though I did try OBMM (about 5 yrs ago) and ran into the very same problem you are getting now)

Most people that have been running mods for a long time will tell you to pick one Wrye Bash or NMM.

Long story/short to your questions.

NO Wyre Bash by itself will not change your load order.

BUT

YES if you move/change the mod's ESM\ESP placement in Wrye Bash

any way to stop it,

yes USE BOSS and pick one NMM or Wyre Bash
