nude mod First Nude Mod for SKATE 4 (Work In Progress)

Since mod tools recently released with reskate I thought I’d try to make a nude mod for it and it’s coming along pretty well just gotta fix the normal map and maybe find some better textures but other than that the vision is there. Any tips or helpful comments are welcome

 

UPDATE EDIT: Fixed the Normal maps added better bush textures and added 2 versions of the mod full nude and pantless also played around with an optional "ruined skater" version which is posted below using placeholder textures. gonna play around with blender tomorrow and hopefully make a thong version.

Glad someone else is working on Skate too! I made a body texture and uploaded it to Thunderstore a couple days ago.  I'm currently trying to skimpify clothing meshes, but exporting the edited meshes from Blender fucks up the LOD's. If I'm really lucky, someone else will figure it out before me.

 

Hope NSFW modding for ReSkate really takes off!

@RedOchre00 If I wanted to do a texture edit based off your mod (with your permission, of course), how would I go about doing that? I have little modding experience outside of texture edits but am a 2D artist, so any advice would be helpful.

@ExplC26 You can use ReSkate's Studio tool, and replace the body texture in there. It's surprisingly easy. You can export the base texture from a PNG there, edit it, and import the edited PNG back into the game. You can find the exact path to the skin texture here: "characters/maincharacters/generic/cas/body/textures/skin_body_tone_150_c". That pathway is only for the lightest three skin tones, check out 250, 350, etc. to replace the others. 

Here's the PNG of my edit if you'd like to use it as a template! These things always look creepy as hell flattened out. 🥲

Great work on the mod, and thank you for the resources and info! I've hit a bit of a snag, though... It looks like the version of ReSkate Studio they released today doesn't allow for body texture edits because it requires a "new cosmetic" now. Or am I mistaken here? Thank you in advance if you're able to give any advice on this! I've got my edit attached. (Just wanted to remove the dark pubes because they looked weird on my redhead character, lol.)

@ClumsyOtter, you're spot on, bud. I'm encountering the same issue with their new ReSkate Studio. I was able to get around it by downgrading to an earlier release. I've attached the older version that's working for me. Ideally they'll roll back that change on future updates.

Huge thanks! That did the trick. Couldn't get the icon to work, but I was able to get a patch thrown together. Attaching it here for anyone who wants it. I made a note on the file, but I'll say it here: it needs to go above RedOchre's mod in the load order to work.
