A Harem Mod for Crusader Kings III

Have you ever dreamed of having a harem? I mean… a REAL harem. With 3D scenes, management and events? Then this mod is for you.

Build a harem, run it, and live with the consequences.

BETA VERSION

The mod is in beta (version 0.9). If you want to help, send me your error.log (Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\logs\error.log) along with a description of the problem.

AT A GLANCE

• 10 fully furnished, explorable 3D rooms
• 11 animations
• A management tab in your court
• Events and their consequences

HOW TO USE

1. Buy a harem and wait 6 months.
2. Appoint a mistress, then fill the positions you want.
3. Once it is built, a new icon appears under your throne room: click it and step in.
4. Click on a woman to enter her room.
5. The icons at the top let you change scene and position, undress, and there is even a POV camera (still in testing).
6. Click on a piece of furniture to start the animations (remember you can switch animations!).

And enjoy the mod as much as I enjoy making it!

FEATURES

• 9 positions: a harem mistress, 2 favorites, a confidante, 2 dancers, 3 servants. Each position has its own role.
• Dukes and counts get a harem too: the royal court is built into the mod.
• Events.
• Steal a ruler's wife… at your own risk.
• Your entourage reacts when you open a harem.
• The AI never gets a harem: it is reserved for the player.
• In French and English.

REQUIREMENTS

• Crusader Kings III 1.20 + Royal Court DLC (required)
• The mod is fully playable on its own. For the best experience, use CBO Unofficial and Carnalitas.
• A Phaze Body patch is ready: I am only waiting for its author's permission.

 

WHICH PATCH DO I NEED?

• CBO Unofficial → Court of Desires - CBO Patch
• CFP without CBO (base game bodies) → Court of Desires - CFP Patch
• CFP with CBO → Court of Desires - CFP Patch (CBO)

 

INSTALLATION AND LOAD ORDER

• Copy the mod and patch files into your Crusader Kings III mod folder, enable them in the launcher and put them at the very bottom. Enjoy.
• Updating: delete the old mod folders first, then copy the new ones.
• Removing the mod mid-game may damage your save.

 

• With CBO: Carnalitas, CFP, CBO Unofficial (Base, Animation, Mesh), CFP CBO Patch, your other mods, Court of Desires, CBO Patch, CFP Patch (CBO).

Mods that change the UI may cause conflicts. I can't test every mod in the world.

Administrative government: the harem may not work for dukes under this government.

For now, the mod is designed for a male ruler. In the future, I will try to adapt everything.

KNOWN BUGS

• Black screen if you try to open your harem during a court event. Step out, deal with your court business, and come back.
• Adventurers: I know it is ridiculous to have such a big harem in a camp. I will adapt it in future updates.
• The first entry into the harem may look buggy (clothes glitching, flashes of black screen). Step out, let a few days pass, come back, and it should fix itself.
• "Undress" can sometimes leave a fig leaf, but it quickly goes back to normal.

so the cbo patch file you included let's the 1.19 full version of cbo run with 1.20 and this mod?

Yes this is build for. CBO have base and animation up to date and meshes no but its work with my patch.

When cbo will get an update i will update again too.

Are you saying counts get royal courts ALONG with the harems? I know AI don't get the harem part, but the court part can cause serious lag if every AI count in the world and up has a court. It's why the mods that expand availability of the royal court tend to go as far down as duke, but not to count.

Yes thats it. Its the only way for everyone to have an harem. I will publish a patch to have only kings and emperors gets the royal court and harems (player only).
