What is this mod?
This is a simple script modification of Deep Addiction.
Now, the mod listens to AAF events and does not allow the use of chems during an AAF scene.
 

I love the mod Deep Addiction, but since AAF stopped operating on the doppelganger of the player character, the mod has become unplayable.
Every time the timer dropped during an AAF scene, the player character would loop through the idle state of consuming chems, which broke the immersion of the game.

Now, the mod detects an AAF scene and displays a message:
 

"Deep Addiction: having sex makes you forget your need for XXX."
 

At this point, the game skips the chem queue and resets the timer. This creates an additional gameplay mechanic where frequent sex scenes slow down the addiction spiral.

Warning:
If you want to use this patch on an existing save, you need to type the following command in the console:
 

help deep 0

look for the line:
QUST: DeepAddictionQuest (XXXXXXXX) 'DeepAddictionQuest'

Then type:

cqf XXXXXXXX RegisterAaf

 

You will see popup that AAF events are registered,

Game tested with smokeable cigarettes patch, provided under same link. It also works without that patch.

Remember to make this patch overwrite original mod and smokeable cigs patch if needed.
