NSFW Modpacks?

Is it possible for someone to just make a big modpack you can just drop into your palworld folder? I have tried modding the game a few times but I am clearly doing something wrong and there are a lot of things to keep track of. I need to reinstall the entire game now because I messed up badly enough.

Are there places you can just get a clean install of pretty much everything you need modwise in one zipfile that you just extract and drop into the folder? I am more used to modding Minecraft or Terraria, this feels more like when I tried to install lewd mods for Skyrim. A long complex process that is seemingly simple on the surface, but if you mess up slightly it won't work and also it will corrupt your game and you need to reinstall.

I am hoping someone knows something like that which would be a good base modpack you can just drop in and it should have pretty much all the hardest parts built in and ready to go from the beginning.

The only things that would mess you up are things dealing with UE4SS and PalSchema drop locations. paks/~mods and LogicMods should never be breaking your game to the extent of a clean install. Crashing on start up if incompatible with an update at worst, but not refreshing your game completely.

Otherwise, there's too many things for lewd modding PW to do a seamless catch-all pack, especially when it comes to things like pal skins being used outside of json frameworks (palmagic/dynamicpals) not working with replacers, and things being updated for 1.0 still leading to breaks.

Not to mention how many animation packs here are no longer compatible with up to date SCake (only 3, though likely down to 2 content creators left for any future shake ups going forward now), which would likely be included in it.

Given that manually installing mods for palworld is ultimately just a matter of dropping files into the correct subfolders of the palworld install directory, there's no technical reason a person couldn't just create a zip file that you extract into the install directory of a clean, unmodded palworld install to get everything set up and working as the mod pack creator intended.  Mind there would need to be different version of the pack for different versions of the game (for instance gamepass vs steam, or windows vs linux), but it would be possible to create such a pack provided one could get everything installed and working for themselves.

This would mean that any conflicts with mods would need to be solved by the pack creator in advance of making the pack.  For instance the mentioned issue with animation mods, where even if the animations are updated to work with 1.0, there is a divide between what versions of SCake the animation creators make the jsons for, which may mean needing to convert the jsons for any animation packs that don't align with the included SCake version to fit the format of the included version.  Similarly, there may be needs to resolve conflicts or otherwise configure various pal replacement and pallet swapping packs to ensure everything works together as desired.

Once all that is done, it's just a matter of copying everything to a set of folders that mirrors the structure but doesn't include any of the native game files before zipping it up to share.  Of course, the problem that might be encountered is one or more of the mod creators potentially taking issue with their work being distributed that way by some unrelated third party.

If such a thing was done, you would have everything that mod pack creator decided to include, configured as they decided to configure it.  How well you or anyone else downloading it could figure out how to add or remove anything is uncertain, as is the ability to adjust configuration settings for the various mods.  What the pack creator thinks worthwhile to include or leave out might not align with your personal preferences.

Anyway, Palworld mods are not likely to cause problems in most cases if installed manually (well beyond maybe causing some crashes until you remove the offending mod if there's problems with it).  They might fail to work, but generally actual game file corruption comes from trying to use something like Vortex, or possibly some other mod manager, as from what I've heard, they are prone to screwing up the process of adding or removing mods in worse than normal ways.  Usually you can just follow the install instructions for a mod without much trouble, with the most complexity coming from hypothetical desire to tweak jsons to better match your precise personal preferences.

I'd be fine with just a modpack that has S-Cake and some animation mods installed. Just something to use as a base pack that has the hard stuff out of the way. I get what you mean though. I am just looking for something that has most of the complex stuff done, doesn't need to have all mods on the site installed or anything, just something that is easy to drag and drop into the folder with everything important installed.
