3.14 compatibility

Hello!

First of all, i apologize in advance for asking this, because i think the answer is pretty much obvious and probably asked more than once at this point ><

I played back with the 3.1415 and installed a lot of mods. In the case of NSFW mods, i ended editing manually some of them (changing some portraits, policies, casus belli and so on), a bit of headache, but managed to do it "properly".

Obviously, time has passed and now we're up to 4.X.  At the beginning i didn't switch to that version because i didn't 100% liked the new gameplay, it didn't seem to reach the performance improvement we were expecting, and lots of mods were going to break anyway.

Thing is... after all this time... yeah, still not fan of the 4.X version and i rather stay on 3.1415. Problem is... of course, new mods are designed to work for 4.X with the new mechanics.

Recently i noticed this mod that could be interesting (Xenomorph species expansion). but yeah, exactky as expected, the moment i tried to play the game it crashed since it was designed to work for 4.X.

Question is.... obviously, there it isn't an "easy" way to downgrade a mod this complex so it works in 3.1415, right? i would need to know how to mod properly in order to remove the new 4.X mechanics and try to find an equivalent for 3.1415, correct?. So... unless the original mod doesn't have an alternative download version for older versions patches like 3.1415, there is nothing to do, right?  I know the game now handles pops differently (between a lot of other things), so i'm assuming there is no amateur-ish way to edit the files and downgrade.

Or... is it? I assume is not possible, but i rather ask you ;)

It would be neat to install some of the new mods to be played with the old version mechanics, but if it's not possible... it is what it is. I would upgrade the game to 4.X and try to learn, but i genuinely edited too much of the mods manually to fit them more to my taste and i wouldn't know how to edit everything on the new versions (and honestly i'm not quite in the mood to edit all the mods again. It was a paid once, not fan of doing it twice  lol)

Thank you very much in advance!
