Sexlab not working on some followers

hey anyone know how to fix this problem? For some reason after a while in game I'm unable to have sex with Lydia and Serana. in the Console this message appears when i try to have sex with them [SexLab] Thread[0] - FATAL - AddActor(Serana): Failed to add actor -- They are not a valid target for animation | Error Code: -10 . other than that I'll have the papyrus log if it helps.

Make sure you've registered animations thru SL anim and reset the animation list on sexlab

 

Maybe you don't have appropriate SLAL animations

That error code occurs when the actor is in SexLab's animating faction and is also in a SexLab thread, meaning that character is already having sex from what SexLab can determine.  If the mod that's initiating sex is doing something weird, conceivably it might have messed up things.  You might try SexLab's cleanup or reset options from its MCM.

I've used the Stop current animations and reinitialize framework but its still the same error. is there something else i should be doing? sorry i am an idiot when it comes to this stuff

Using console commands you can try to select lydia and type "resetai" "recycleactor" "disable" "enable" and see if any of that helps. If you removed or updated any mods that might also be the reason. Sometimes this happens to my pc instead when I don't properly end the sexlab scene and usually end up reloading an earlier save but never happened to an npc for me...

Funnily enough i just had a similar issue on my male character save and when i ran the save thru fallrim, i had my poser mod "callstacking" or whatever its called like crazy. I couldn't do anything (every input i made was slow or just not getting thru at all) because 27,000 out of 27,100 calls were being made by poser for some reason. Had to delete the active poser script and it ran like butter afterwards. Run your save thru fallrim/Resaver, take a screenshot of that and see if u have some active script going haywire.

 

Wouldn't hurt to check what resaver says, but yeah its a shot in the dark from my end...

okay did the Resaver this is what it shows. I've also did remove unattached instances and tried that save but still the same error.
