Sexlab not working on some followers

hey anyone know how to fix this problem? For some reason after a while in game I'm unable to have sex with Lydia and Serana. in the Console this message appears when i try to have sex with them [SexLab] Thread[0] - FATAL - AddActor(Serana): Failed to add actor -- They are not a valid target for animation | Error Code: -10 . other than that I'll have the papyrus log if it helps.

Make sure you've registered animations thru SL anim and reset the animation list on sexlab

 

Maybe you don't have appropriate SLAL animations

That error code occurs when the actor is in SexLab's animating faction and is also in a SexLab thread, meaning that character is already having sex from what SexLab can determine.  If the mod that's initiating sex is doing something weird, conceivably it might have messed up things.  You might try SexLab's cleanup or reset options from its MCM.

I've used the Stop current animations and reinitialize framework but its still the same error. is there something else i should be doing? sorry i am an idiot when it comes to this stuff
