I created a mod that automatically moves the camera for a more cinematic experience, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

When I configure the mod for Wicked or to follow my Sim, they go down a floor (or up, if I’m in the basement).

Also, the settings window still displays text in English despite my French translation; it’s likely an AI-generated mod that clearly doesn't know how to use translation tables.

Thank you for reporting the issue with the camera only targeting the main floor. It was a silly oversight from my end, as the all the prior testing was done in a one story house. I have uploaded a new version with a fix for the issue.

As for the translations, I didn't plan on adding any as I can't personally verify if the translations would be good enough for all the languages. However, perhaps people would prefer translations, even if they are not perfect.

Thanks for your reply. It seems odd to use the ground floor when the bedrooms might be upstairs.
It needs to be set up for all levels, especially for apartments, which are often duplexes; and of course, houses can have a basement.

There is still a minor bug with your mod: when I'm playing and recording a video with OBS, the mod stops responding if I hide the game menus (using the Tab ⇄ key). It's a shame, and there is no other way to capture the game via OBS; the game's built-in recording function works perfectly, but the resulting videos are poor quality and very large in size.
It would be great if you could do something to fix this issue. Thanks!

Thank you for continuing to use the mod!

Unfortunately I were not able to find any way to control the camera while it's in free cam. I know it's possible to use keyboard shortcuts to set up camera angles for free cam, but I was not able to find any way to control that from a mod.

I still have some ideas for an external tool that could trigger the keyboard shortcuts that I may explore.

Malheureusement, je n'ai trouvé aucun moyen de contrôler la caméra en mode caméra libre. Je sais qu'il est possible d'utiliser des raccourcis clavier pour régler les angles de caméra dans ce mode, mais je n'ai trouvé aucune option pour le faire via un mod.

J'ai encore quelques idées concernant un outil externe qui pourrait déclencher les raccourcis clavier que j'envisage d'explorer.

It's me again: is there a way to smooth out the transition between shots—like a sort of cross-fade between scenes?
If that's possible, it would be great to have that kind of transition.
