At just 21, Damian has already endured more hardship than most. After losing his father in a construction accident and his mother during childbirth, he and his half-sister, Danica, were left with an abusive, alcoholic stepfather. Years of abuse culminated in a violent confrontation where Damian accidentally killed him in self-defense. After months of legal battles, he was cleared of all charges.

Now restarting a life in Newcrest, Damian works at a fast-food restaurant and takes freelance modeling gigs to support himself and Danica. Despite his troubled past, he remains determined to build a safer, quieter life and future for the only family he has left.
