[Help Post]Older COMMON archive files (pre-March 28, 2025) — can already extract textures

Hi everyone,

I've been working on extracting textures from DOAXVV's game files and have successfully figured out the decryption and decompression pipeline for the COMMON resource packs (XOR stream cipher + Stream8000 chunked zlib). I can now extract all textures from the TLSK (ScreenLayoutTexture) containers — including bromides, gacha banners, event UI, ticket icons, etc. — and convert them to PNG.

However, I only have the COMMON folder files from after March 28, 2025. A lot of older event content (bromides, banners, UI assets from events before that date) is no longer in my current game files, as the game has since replaced/removed them through updates.

Would anyone who has been playing since before March 2025 be willing to share their older COMMON archive files? Specifically, I'm looking for the hash-named files inside the game's COMMON directory that date from before that update. Even a partial set would be greatly appreciated.

If you're unsure how to locate them, they're in your game install directory under the COMMON folder — the files have no extension and are named with 64-character hex hashes (SHA-256). You can just zip up the entire COMMON folder and share it via MEGA, Google Drive, or any file host.

Happy to share my extraction tools/scripts in return if anyone is interested.

Thanks in advance!

Amazing, how did you do that? I've previously used d3dx to make some UI replacement mods, but that method has quite a lot of limitations. I also tried unpacking the textures but had no clue where to start. Would you be willing to share your approach? Though I only started playing around with this two years ago, so I can't provide you with any earlier files.
