Hope you wasnt expecting a long game like the previous MGS titles.

I read multiple reports saying Ground Zero is just 2 hours long Including cutscenes!

Wtf Hideo?!

But turns out Ground Zero is just a 40$ prequel for THE PHANTOM PAIN (aka MGS 5)

Wtf -.-

Why? lol

I'm hoping that its actually pretty good, i found myself alil bored with MGS4.

it didnt feel like a metal gear solid to me

but than agian when i played it i was going through a rough time so eh i could be wrong.

Any other opinons on this?

Are you still going to pay 40$ for the prequel knowing damn well you gotta pay another 60$ for the original game that comes out?

I am pretty sure it was going for 29.99 instead of 40 , regardless , the length is hardly of any matter as what really matters is the impact the game has .

Also kojima said that there would be chalenges and leaderboards that should up the playtime if thats all that matters to you .

In snakes voice: "MGS has changed. It's no longer about fun, gameplay, or dedication. It's an endless series of cutscenes made by Hideo and his developers. Metal Gear and its use of false advertising has become a half assed game. MGS has changed..."

Sounds very much like the tanker lvl from Solid 2.  Hideo just loves messing with his fans I tell ya. :P  In the end though the man is a genius at what he does and possibly my favorite game director of all time right next to Miyamoto.

As far as Ground Zero I think the length might be based more on whether you spend time visiting every little nook and cranny or just run right through the story.  As it is with most MGS games.  That's how the tanker lvl was for me.  First time through it was only about 30mins  but after doing and finding all the secrets it turned out to be more like two or three hours.

Anyway I'm looking forward to it.
