Ryanwire991 Posted Thursday at 10:41 PM Posted Thursday at 10:41 PM View File [XCL] [0.25.9] Added Flavors What Is Added Flavors? Added Flavors is a conversation expansion for X-Change Life. Its goal is to make the game’s characters feel more distinct, less repetitive, and more aware of what has happened during your playthrough. The mod expands the existing Ask about her system with larger dialogue pools, personality-based responses, relationship-dependent reactions, and context-aware conversations tied to actual game events. When Added Flavors activates, you are usually given two eligible questions to choose from. After the character answers, you receive three possible responses. There is no universal “good,” “neutral,” or “bad” answer. Different personalities react differently, so a response that works well with one character may completely fail with another. Bar Girl Conversations Added Flavors expands conversations with the game’s bar girls while keeping their existing personalities and relationship systems intact. The mod supports all seven main bar-girl personality types: Bimbo Feminine Nerdy Sporty Rich Bitch Slut Main Conversation Pool Added Flavors expands the standard male-player conversation pool with a wider range of topics and more personality-driven responses. These conversations cover subjects such as: Hobbies Relationships Music and movies Money Jealousy Attraction Personality Dating More personal and intimate topics Post-sex conversations Context-aware follow-ups Some questions only become available once the current bar girl reaches the required Attraction level, while others unlock after specific events such as sleeping with her. Certain responses can also trigger a native Charm check, meaning a confident or flirtatious answer may work extremely well if you succeed, but fail badly if you do not. Female-Player Conversations Added Flavors also includes a separate conversation pool for female players. These conversations focus more heavily on: X-Change The player’s transformed appearance Girl talk Relationships Femininity Identity How comfortable the player has become living as a woman Some questions only become available after that specific bar girl has learned about the player’s X-Change identity. Context-Aware Conversations Added Flavors can react to things that have actually happened in your game. Characters may comment on events such as: Relationship changes Failed pickups Previous sexual encounters Reputation changes Specific transformations Outfits and appearance People the player has brought home Other events the character has personally witnessed Some of these conversations are initiated by the NPC rather than selected directly by the player. Certain contextual conversations are one-time events, while others can return later depending on their trigger and the mod’s normal conversation cooldown rules. Relationship Effects Your responses can affect the game’s existing relationship values, including: Attraction Friendship Respect Dominance / Submission Different personalities react differently to the same answer. An assertive response might impress one character while annoying another. Added Flavors is designed around learning what each character responds to rather than simply choosing an obvious “best” answer. Refusals and Charm Checks Some conversations may have a chance to be refused, especially when the subject is more personal or intimate. Certain responses can also trigger X-Change Life’s native Charm check system. Success can significantly improve the outcome, while failure may cause the conversation to end badly. More personal conversations generally require stronger relationships before they become available. How Often Does Added Flavors Appear? By default, selecting Ask about her gives Added Flavors a 30% chance to activate. The remaining 70% uses the normal vanilla conversation system. This can be changed in Added Flavors Settings to: 10% 30% 50% 70% 100% Conversation Memory Added Flavors remembers completed conversations separately for each bar girl. This helps prevent the same questions from appearing repeatedly and allows different characters to develop independently. Context-specific conversations also maintain their own tracking when necessary. Vanilla Compatibility Added Flavors is designed to work alongside the existing game, not replace it. The original Discuss Mutual Interests system remains untouched. The mod continues to use X-Change Life’s native systems wherever possible, including: Relationships Character personalities Sex history Charm checks Game events Existing character progression Alexia and Stepdad Conversations Added Flavors also greatly expands conversations with Alexia and the player’s stepdad. New conversations are spread across several pools, including Alexia at home, Alexia at the beach, and stepdad conversations at home. Alexia Alexia receives additional conversations about: The player Summer City Relationships Greg X-Change The player’s appearance Behavior and femininity Identity How comfortable the player has become with transforming Beach conversations also cover subjects such as: Swimwear Attention from other people Spending time together Swimming Sunscreen Volleyball events Alexia also receives context-aware follow-up conversations tied to events she has actually witnessed or learned about. Examples include: Alexia catching the player masturbating Alexia catching the player with Greg The player and Alexia’s blowjob arrangement Alexia catching the player having sex with Bruce The Alexia/Bruce/player threesome Beach volleyball wins and losses Transformations and pill use Outfit and appearance changes Sexual experience milestones People the player brings home Many of these conversations use different responses depending on Alexia’s relationship with the player. Stepdad Greg receives expanded conversations about: Family life The move to Summer City Alexia X-Change His protectiveness toward the player How his relationship with the player is changing He also receives context-aware conversations tied to events he has personally witnessed or participated in, including certain outfit and secretary-related moments. Relationship-Dependent Dialogue Alexia and Greg can respond differently depending on the current relationship state. Where appropriate, conversations may use variants based on: Friendship Respect Attraction Flirtation Poor relationships More personal or suggestive conversations also have minimum relationship requirements so they only appear when they make sense. Some dialogue choices can directly influence other player values, including Femininity. Dredd Expansion Dredd Expansion is being discontinued for now. I realized that adding support for a mod that was already on the brink of being discontinued probably wasn’t the best choice, and that’s the main reason I’m dropping the current version. I wanted to rewrite it anyway, so for the next update I’m moving on from it for now. I’ll revisit the expansion at a later date once the Dredding Intimacy revamp is out, and rebuild it properly around the updated version. The Goal Added Flavors is not intended to replace X-Change Life’s relationship system. The goal is simply to add more variety, personality, continuity, and consequences to everyday conversations. Characters should feel less like repeating dialogue menus and more like people who remember what has happened between you, notice how the player is changing, and react accordingly. xarvenius Posted Monday at 02:04 PM Posted Monday at 02:04 PM (edited) " Added a clear README requirement for the latest Dredding Intimacy community fix. Added installation guidance pointing users to the DI forum on the XCL Discord. " and how to get it for the once without discord? its always a kick in the nuts if someone has some stuff as a requirement that needs you to register somewhere else just to get it.
