Drinks are not working anymore.

Everything works, but no one can make drinks, not even the NPC's assigned for it. I saw more people having the same issue, but no one could fix it. I barely have mods that affect the game. WW, Nia's mod and CC's + animations.

Download TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions. Once the problems occurs the game should generate a BE text file that can tell you what cc and or mod is causing the issue.

Do you mean literally nobody? Like, if you send your sim over to his or her home bar to make a drink, does it fail? Or do you really mean that no one can order drinks at the bars out in public? Because if it's the latter, that's a common known problem that has to do with bartender skill. Basically, skilled bartenders will have a high preference for performing bar tricks, and once those animations start, two things happen: 1) they stop tending bar, and 2) they cannot be interrupted and stop the animation. All you can do is use a cheat to reset the sim, and try to order your drink in the small window before they start another trick.

 

I believe this is one of the long list of quality of life improvements that the TS4 team hasn't actually gotten around to yet.

It was my fault, the problem was that NOBODY could us the bar, the mixiology person asigned for it just stand in place and do nothing. I'm very meticulous about the mods I install, and apparently, I installed one that I don't even know what it does, and it wouldn't let me (or literally anyone) use the drinks. I don't remember downloading it, and luckily, since I don't have many mods installed, I was able to find it easily. If anyone has similar problems, the mod was: Skarrd_Perverted_Expansion_Pack package file

 

I deleted it, and I don't notice any change at all in the gameplay, but everyone can get drunk and that sim can work again.
