Missing Pipboy

My pip boy went missing.  Highly annoying.   Apparently, this happens to other people?

I do use the "Hide Pip-boy" Mod and have used it for years with no problem.  It can't be the issue here.  It would have been a problem in the past, right?

Did I install a mod that is hiding the pip boy?  I had not installed any mods recently.  

I was in Murk water Construction Site building a new settlement.  I did not do anything out of the ordinary.

WHY IS MY PIP BOY MISSING?

 

I am posting this in case it happens to someone else.

 

If you hit R and E in quick succession while in workshop mode, you can delete your pip boy.  I have never had this happen before and I have played this game since the minute it was released in 2015.  I guess I have been lucky.

 

Anyway, download the following from Nexus.

Fix Pip Boy at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Fix Pip Boy Mod

extract file and place in the game directory.

In the console type bat.fixpipboy

Exit console.

Your Pip boy should be back.  At least it was in my case.
