What if your sim could have a different hair color for just one outfit?

 

I turned some of the native hairs into head accessories so they function like wigs. I made this with my prostitute and stripper sims in mind.

 

6 hairs with all 25 swatches to choose from.

You should look into "Ombre" and hair streak mods that exist, lots of hair creators make these that recolor hair in different ways.  Most of them put these objects in the Face Paint or head accessories areas like Brow Rings.  I have so many of them and they can add interesting combinations when you find some that work well with the hair you're using.  They have no shape they just apply color different to the hair.

I've tried those over the years and none had quite all the features I was looking for, like being removed when a sim showers or having a different hair underneath it. I also feel like they tend to look glitchy and not work with many of the hairs, specially textured hair. This one, for example, requires for the base hair to be white and has a few visual glitches.

 

I know this is a pretty niche mod to fix a problem almost no one has. But to me it was quite a game changer, so I thought that maybe more people out there would find it useful. I'm also new to using S4S and discovering I could make this felt super cool.
