The books are no different from adult smut novels unless you have Bimbo’s of Skyrim installed. In that case, reading the books will cause corruption to increase. Click the spoiler to learn more. Also had an idea... You know how sometimes people swap the book cover out so you think that are reading something, but in reality it is something else? How about some books in the world being like this? You think you are going to open some harmless book and Boop! it's a bimbo book on the inside...

Spoiler The plain pink covered book gave a random amount of corruption between 1-99. The black book with sleek ominous design and a pink heart would always trigger bimbo curse. The content in the black book is also usually more hardcore, brutal, and degrading (Even the title pretty much speak for itself) compare to others with the exception of How to be a Good Girl, that book is supposed to be a corruption book after all. I make the book cover easily to be distinguish so player would know it is really a bad idea to pick that black book. Spoiler I won't add the book cover swap idea since it would break the lore of Book of Depravity. Read Herman Log to find out why. But I can add a book with a title that look rather innocent that add corruption when you open it. I try to keep BoD lore as ambiguous as possible so it would have ambiguous connection with other adult mod. The first without a doubt is Bimbos of Skyrim, the second is The Mysterious Breeding Room mod. I plan to add a few more book such as Dibellan Pilgrim that mirror The Sisterhood of Dibella in the near future.

No, there is already plenty of adult mod with perk that add buff/debuff. This is just a adult visual novel book for reading and does nothing unless you have BoS mod. Even with BoS mod, it only add corruption, that's all. It also create compatibility nightmare, so no thanks.
