SpcyYogrt Posted Thursday at 03:41 AM Posted Thursday at 03:41 AM Meaningful Sexpertise Skill - Add on for Wicked Whims View File Uses Wicked Traits to add a bit more depth to how the sexpertise skill works. I feel like the sexpertise skill changes nothing. I'm sure Turbo implemented some kind of functionality, but I honestly don't see the difference during gameplay. What I'd do is hand-assign some wicked traits as my sim progressed in the sexpertise skill. So why not automate it? What it Does For each sexpertise level, your sim will be given a set of wicked traits: lvl 1 → Shy + Selfish lover You're starting your journey into discovering your body (and other people's). You're still very self contious, and not very good at pleasing your partner. lvl 2 → Selfish lover You feel more comfortable in your own skin now, but you don't quite know the steps to the devil's tango (and your partner can tell). lvl 3 → Insatiably Lustful It's that middle ground where you've gained some experience and you think you know everything there is to know (even though that is not very true). So you want to try everything out all the time. At least now you're actually getting good at it and can provide some real carnal fun. lvl 4 → Generous Lover You've learned a lot and you prove that on every steamy encounter. Your partners always have a great time. lvl 5 → Sexually Alluring + Generous Lover When it comes to the arts of the bedroom, everything your brush touches is a masterpiece. Not only do you always leave your partner satisfied but your skillful silver tongue can talk almost anyone into becoming your new hay rolling body. What about NPCs? Are they all bad in bed since they have no sexpertise? Nope, the mod randomizes the sexpertise skill level of every sim and applies the traits accordingly. Requirements Wicked Whims LINK (Suggestion) Skill Gain Customizer LINK If you think the sexpertise skill takes for ever to learn, you can use this mod to make it faster. Fun fact: I had the idea for the Skill Gain Customizer because I felt sexpertise and the Khlas skill were too slow, so I used mccc to make both of them faster. But the speed that was good for sexpertise made the Klhas one way too fast. And at the same time I felt like the naturism skill was going up way too fast. With this mod you can choose specific speeds for specific skills. Installation Install Wicked Whims normally Download one of the variants available Drop the [SpcyYogrt]MeaningfulSexpertise.package and the [SpcyYogrt]MeaningfulSexpertise.ts4script into your mods folder. Remember that the .ts4script file CANNOT stay deeper than one layer into your mods folder. "The Sims 4\Mods\MeaningfulSexpertise" is fine, "The Sims 4\Mods\sillymods_heehee\MeaningfulSexpertise" is not fine. Q&A What about teens? Teenage sims can't learn the sexpertise skill but they can have Wicked traits. How the randomization works is that teens receive a "dormant" sexpertise level and get the respective traits assigned. When the teen ages up, they get their sexpertise skill set to the value that was initially set. I think the Lustful and Shy traits are annoying when applied to all sims but I do want some of them to have it. What do I do? What you can do is get the variant that doesn't apply those traits and then use the Wicked Whims trait distribution systems for applying those traits. It just depends on how you want to play. If you start a save with one of the variants you can switch to a different one at any time (this will not remove already applied traits, only stop new ones). I think my neighbor just became a sexpertise master overnight. What the hell? The mod needs to run checks to see if new sims were generated or aged up, so it can randomize their sexpertise level. Those checks happen on zone loading (when you travel to a lot or load a save) and at midnight. So, yeah, they did become casanova overnigth. Yay? What if I remove one of the traits the mod assigned? As mentioned above, the mod runs checks. One of them is to see what level all sims are currtently on. So when the check comes, it will apply the trait right back. That's why it's important that you choose the variant carefully. if you have questions, issues or suggestions, you can comment them →HERE← Join me on Patreon to see all my other mods! PennilessDegenerate Posted Thursday at 12:15 PM Posted Thursday at 12:15 PM (edited) Love the idea, and love that you considered the possibility of people not liking the trait attachment stages even though it's a good idea... for storytelling progress purpose, that is. From what I'm able to tell, Sexpertise basically affected the moodlets after the sex, the better you are at the skill then more likely you are to satisfy your partner and give them positive moodlets (if you aren't selfish). But since you CAN'T see your partners' buffs if they're NPCs and said buffs aren't strong enough to affect their current mood, nor does strip dancing or prostitution mods like Wicked Perversion and Good Time Girls give you extra rewards for satisfying them, people just doesn't really give a shit about it by large. I feel like to truly make Sexpertise "useful", some fundamental changes are required beyond "Sim feels slightly more confident for feeling good in their last intercourse" and affecting a Sim's overall attitude towards sex like you did (which isn't a bad attempt, but I personally don't think it's a proper solution since I don't know what you changed in the version WITHOUT the traits applied). Heck, I found a Reddit post that implies (allegedly) Turbo actually have implemented a third skill called "Persuasion", which had even less documentation if it's true and not removed in later versions of WW.
