tarin Posted Thursday at 10:23 PM Posted Thursday at 10:23 PM View File Regula Magistri - GoT - LoV - Ancient Birthright Patch Ok so I made this primarily for personal usage but I thought I might as well share it. This makes Regula Magistri Compatible with A Game of Thrones, Legacy of Valyria, and Ancient Birthright. The mod is really meant to be played with Aurion at least that's what I spent most my time on. Most of the patching was done through the help of AI. Also it's not very balanced. But neither were Regula Magistri or LoV imo. So yeah. What does this mod do? AGOT - LOV - Ancient Birthright Compatibility with Regula Magistri Regula Version of the Imperial Doctrine Faith ( Regula Geron ēlyr Jaedārys ) -> pick own path and then Blood of old Valyria adjusted MAA Art for the Valyrian MAA mod as well as GOT Valyrian MAA (sadly I didn't get the custom Levy Image stuff to work) adjusted special Regula MAA to work with the AGOT Map, only 4 special regula MAA were ported corresponding to the 4 regions of Valyria some loading screens cause why not To play you will need the following: AGOT https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2962333032 AGOT Submod Core https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3034473189 Legacy of Valyria https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3403938445 LOV Temporary Compatch https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3719888822 Ancient Birthright https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3422197350 Ancient Birthright Temporary Compatch https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3752263168 (Optional) Valyrian MAA https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3670766626 Carnalitas Regula Magistri (this mod) Under the download section you will find the Playset JSON for import into the Launcher. This is the playset I am currently playing on. It includes several additional mods that are not necessary but nice to have in my opinion. All the Art and most of the code was created with AI. If that bothers you stay away. I am providing this as is and will most likely abandon it when I no longer play with it. But at least for the moment I will try to fix any issues. I tried to keep any overwrites as limited as possible so hopefully it won't be outdated too quickly. Though I guess if you have fun suggestions I might try to include them. New expectations Posted Friday at 01:36 AM Posted Friday at 01:36 AM A really great mod, thank you for sharing. Although I haven't played Agot yet, I'm very interested. Especially the compatibility between Agot and Regula Magistri, that's really important to me.
NEIYO97 Posted Friday at 02:42 AM Posted Friday at 02:42 AM Thanks for sharing! Time to go back to agot!

Do note I didn't implement any religion changes beyond the specific Valyrian one and also no regional MAA beyond those in Valyria. But at least the version without any holy sites should work universally. The main things really that are changed for compatability is the Character UI, Council UI and checking that only humans can be infected (otherwise Dragons would get the Mulsa trait lol)
tarin Posted Friday at 01:12 PM Author Posted Friday at 01:12 PM I actually just found an instance of dragons still being a viable target. I think now all automatic cases should be covered. I didn't overwrite the interactions since that would mean tons of overwrites. So you can still manually charm a dragon but at least it won't happen automatically anymore.
dazzlemaksss Posted Friday at 01:49 PM Posted Friday at 01:49 PM Sorry for my English, I'm using a translator. Thanks for your mod, but it has the same problem as all the marriage-changing mods: it removes the punishment for marrying the wildlings. It's very strange to see Lady Arryn married to the wildling leader.

The marriage acceptance is now properly based on the GoT file with only the Regula Magistri changes.
dazzlemaksss Posted Friday at 06:58 PM Posted Friday at 06:58 PM I also noticed that artificial intelligence can now create spiritual orders, but it cannot call them to war.

That's because holy orders are re-enabled by regula magistri since some of the content depends on them. Dealing with this would either mean locking away a lot of regula content or doing a larger rewrite. Both of which I didn't really want to do. So for now they exist in this half state.

Ok so this actually started bothering me. It looks like regula actually has it's own type of holy order decision. I have therefore disabled the vanilla decision while keeping only the regula specific one. I also made the regula specific one player only. So the AI should no longer create holy orders. dazzlemaksss Posted Friday at 09:29 PM Posted Friday at 09:29 PM I don't know if my mistake is related to your mod, but I can no longer grant titles to my courtiers.

Ahh. New version is up with fix. AGOT has it's own gender check sadly so I needed to fix the regula succession laws. I had fixed that but mistakenly did it directly in the Regula Magistri mod instead of the compatch. Moved the file in the compatch now and it should work now.
dazzlemaksss Posted yesterday at 06:13 AM Posted yesterday at 06:13 AM I don't want to sound pushy, but you can adapt the patch later by changing the regula magistri decisions, specifically the regional proclamations and the procedure for introducing regional prisoners.
dazzlemaksss Posted yesterday at 06:35 AM Posted yesterday at 06:35 AM It's very strange to see decisions about tolerance for Islam or Christianity, as well as the recruitment of regional captives, that don't fit the world of Game of Thrones. In particular, it would have been great if the regiments corresponded to the kingdoms, such as the addition of female regiments of Dornish spearmen, Ironborn shieldbearers, or bloody wildlings
dazzlemaksss Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Is the patch compatible with the new version of regula magistri ? Thank you in advance for your response.
