coopycarbonara Posted July 22 Posted July 22 hello, i keep running into the issue where a lot of overlays/body paints look like they should also apply over the genitals, but don't actually seem to with Schlongs of Skyrim, The New Gentleman, or Hoodies, and i was wonder if it were possible to make it so it CAN go over genitals and how i would accomplish that i remember having this issue back in the LE days but never found any sort of fix/solution then either
Gyna-Kolajist Posted July 23 Posted July 23 The body type you use has a ginormous impact when you start adding body modifications Referencing the Schlongs mod by the beloved pervert, galgaroth, here is a notation.... Common issues: missing textures/missing schlong: wrong load order and/or something overwrote something it shouldn't have DLL is missing or reported to be the wrong version: mismatch between SKSE64 and SoS SE; see the requirements at the top of the page CTDs, freezes or infinite loading screens: post the Papyrus and SoS SE logs in this thread; instructions on how to get to those are on the old SoS page Requirements: Skyrim SE v1.5.97 SKSE64 v2.0.17 SkyUI v5.2SE + XPMSSE v4.51 + (optional but highly recommended) Tempered Skins with support for SoS SE (Nexus site)

Gyna-Kolajist Posted August 3 Posted August 3 If they aren't applying, you have the wrong body type/types, do not have all the requirements, or simply don't have a mod available for your game version. I say "types", because people start adding skin textures, skin types, UV... and body parts. Here is the problem. There are so many variant body types and mods specifically for them it gets mind numbing to think about it. Another issue, the game version you play -vs- the mod you want to use. Also, Some mods have gone by the wayside, so the pre-requisite mod is no longer valid for the mod you want. Games age, modders stop updating their MODs or stop modding completely. I know this isn't much, but I am trying to help.

The body and genitals have their own textures and the overlays are only intended for the body. This means that the texture of the genitals covers the overlay. To prevent this, you would need two overlays that fit together exactly. one for the body and one for the genitals.
