alphabetsoupdog1234 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 View File ASD_SimpleSex This mod sets out to, well, simplify starting scenes. The name is kinda on-the-nose.  The purpose: A hotkey that starts a scene between the player and the nearest eligible target. Eligibility determined by whether they are allowed to be involved in scenes, and whether an animation exists for the player and that potential partner.  Why? Lots of people find the debug controls awkward, and there's already options for slightly less controlled and less voluntary action. This lets you walk up to something and start a thing with it -- or stand in your base and start something with the closest of your 'friends' that you have an animation for. Up to the user to decide what logic they want to ascribe to it; it's just a button to start sex.  ---  1.0 - FOR SCAKE 0.6 (should work on anything from 0.6.1 through 0.6.21)  Simple hotkey, json file in LogicMods/Settings that lets you change the hotkey (what letter (number and symbol probably also work, didn't try), and whether some combination of ctrl/alt/shift are required)  No bugs that I'm aware of, a bunch of people used it (I had it in RC1 state) but nobody reported any issues, so I'm releasing it as-is. Mostly because I can't be bothered to iterate on it when a new version of SCake is out and requires reworking the links, and UPI also updated and I am choosing to update that for future-proofing. Making the changes first then updating would be a pain, and backporting would be worse so 1.0 is what you get if you use SCake 0.6 If anyone finds something really problematic I could potentially go back and fix it, but anything that major is something that should've been noticed and reported by now so I expect it's unlikely.  1.1 RC3 (release candidate 3) - FOR SCAKE 0.7 +  All of the above, but some extra stuff: 1) More information in the menus 2) You can now adjust ctrl/alt/shift in the menus 3) There's now a fallback solo option, so if you hit the hotkey and have no animations for any nearby NPCs/Pals, you'll start a scene on your own. Disabled by default. 4) There's now an option to enable your active summoned pal as a valid target. 5) If you don't have scake 0.7 installed, it'll be obvious (menu item will change and nothing will be enabled) rather than just complaining your player is not valid for scake scenes.  There may [or may not] be bugs that weren't in 1.0 since I didn't do a ton of testing; mostly just made sure that it worked as I expected it to.    REQUIREMENTS: Functional copy of SCake (0.6.X for 1.0 or 0.7.X for 1.1 RC1 and newer) - this means all of SCake's requirements as well.  Note that in SCake 0.6.21 and 0.7, it has a 'comprehensive' package that includes UniPalUI; so if you get one of those you shouldn't need to install it separately.
