Wet effects disappear during SexLab scenes, any fix? Can someoneu tell me which mod could be causing this issue?

There can only be one vanilla game shader effect active at any given moment. There's a mod that switches SL over to using RM overlays for its cum stains; that's probably the fix you're looking for.

I'm not sure if this is what's causing my issue. Are there any RM overlays mods like this available on the forum? I was wondering if 'dripping' might be causing this problem. Do I need to disable its effects during SexLab scenes?

Depends on when exactly these effects disappear. The reason is most likely the same though: only one effect shader at any given moment.

Yes. Unless it has been removed for some reason. Seems unlikely.

I tried it and it seems the problem isn't with this mod.

More Informative Console can show you all magic effects currently applied to your character. Go through those effects in xEdit and find the ones with shader effects.

Hey guys, I finally found the culprit! It was an issue with SLGP (SexLab grass patch). Although I have no idea how or why it caused the problem, I'm just so relieved to have figured it out. Hope this helps anyone else running into similar issues!
