Since it would suck to see a lot of these animations become sort of lost media.

Is the despaghettifaction process easy and or in some way automatable? or maybe even something that could be modded into that game itself. if not could we in some way spawn in a "legacy model" during an animation and animate that instead.

As long as you understand Blender and the animator's process, plus how to repackage everything when its all done, that's pretty much what it calls for.

I'm certain I've got everything in the right directories, and everything else loads up just fine (like the in-game menus), but after a few seconds of being in-game it just says that no anims were registered.

It also cuts into older packs where the creator isnt around to update them anymore although it would seem palworld 1.0 kinda did this anyway.

And how exactly did you go about that? I get that the anims won't work well right now regardless, but it would at least be nice to get this part out of the way

I played over a year ago and enjoyed the mods and put it in my 'come back in 1.0' pile with all the other early access games. However it seems like there was a bunch of drama and a bunch of mods are broken or people are circling the wagons or something? Whats the current state of things? Do we think we're going to have a healthy robust horny mod system for this game with animations for most of the pals and such? 1

Do we think we're going to have a healthy robust horny mod system for this game with animations for most of the pals and such? 1.0 breaks: Any mods affecting player models, including scake animation packs (only 1 has been updated so far, which is Lurker's as far as I'm aware), some pals (such as Verdash and any pal mods before the Terraria update which had added swimming animations for all pals at the time), UE4SS and PalSchema mods due to framework changes (both have been updated now however, the remainder is just compatibility updates for other makers). For TBox models if you use them, please refer to this pdf put together by another member: T-Box Palpedia (Palworld 1,0 Update).pdf As for current events: We're either just waiting for an scake competitor to appear to reduce overall friction at the woes of one person, much like DynamicPals and PalMagic have allowed now, or just be limited to prior versions that still respect the animators who make the content in the first place. Skins will always be updated at the time the creator is allotted in their daily lives.
