Can anyone help me apply HDT SMP physics to this robe replacer?

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31277 I've tried to apply SMP physics to the lower half of this monk robe replacer, and I can't get it to work no matter what I do. I've tried to copy bones from Pero's Open Mage Robes, but it doesn't work, and I can't figure out how to make those kind of bones myself. If anyone could either apply SMP or help me do it myself. I'd appreciate it.
