Breast Physics Collision Issues & Questions

Recommended Posts

Hello! There were two questions i wanted to ask that are of a similar vein regarding breast collision.

First, how to I get my Bodyslide morph sliders to map collisions accurately to the breasts model. Ive noticed that depending on what sliders i use / how big they get, the collisions don't match the model well (Breast floating noticeably away from the object they're "colliding" with, or clipping into it.)

And second, is there a way to make your physics engine (CBPC with CBBE 3B) treat breasts as actually squishy, as opposed to just pushing them around relative to their collision?

I would imagine so, since they can squash and stretch, but as of now, i can only get them to be pushed around when they collide with something (for example, an idle animation places the characters arms under the breasts, and instead of breast squishing comfortably on top of the arms, they're awkwardly forced upwards to make way for them)

Any information would be appreciated, as while I'm not completely ignorant, this is well out of my comfort zone.

I don't think CBPC is quite capable of accurate physics relative to your morphs, SMP does it much better. However, there is a collection of OCBPC configurations for many different presets on nexus or, if you use Obody, a mod that applies configs based on your current preset on the fly.

As for squishy breasts, SOFTBODY does the job, but it requires FSMP. The good thing is that it already comes with SMP fixes, which removes the need of rebuilding the SMP object everytime you change presets via, say, Obody or the RaceMenu sliders. If you can only use CBPC, I don't think this would work.

You know, that works for me, I was already using faster HDT SMP for my armor and whatnot, I just had my 3b set to only use CBPC, I'll just reinstall it and tell it to use SMP for the breasts in the FOMOD installer, and we'll see how that goes (ill also be checking out softbody TYSM)

When it gets updated and gets a stable release, I'll probably switch from faster SMP to that new one that looks promising on nexus.
