Can't make sexlab expressions to work

Recommended Posts

Posted

I put Papyrus after sexlab in MO. I tried MFG Fix and Expressive Facial Animation.I rebuild, apply, etc. But I only get flickers of expressions. Most of the time eyes stay open and lips move a little.

I must add that I use a race mod - ShinglesCat Ciri mod, so maybe that's the problem.

Also remember the following:

  1. After starting a new game or sometimes after being in RaceMenu adjusting things expressions will not work. Open RaceMenu again and close it immediately without making changes and they will work again.
  2. Expressions do not work if the tri files do not match your head mesh. Usually this causes a CTD so it's probably not applicable here.
  3. There is no unifying framework (that I'm aware of) for expressions and phonemes. If you have 2 or more mods applying phonemes and expressions at any given moment, they will conflict. You can mix and match obviously: one mod to control the eyebrows, one for the ears, or one during SL scenes and another while you're mining ore.
  4. Opparco's MFG mod does not work as far as I know, at least not with SL - it's missing essential functions.
  5. Check your Papyrus log for everything else phoneme or expressions related.

I had the same problem with this mod. Uninstall it and use this one instead.

SexLab Expression Director

Tried it, but must I must be doing something wrong, cause nothing has  changed. Eyes almost never close and mouth moves slightly.  I also tried not using any expression mods and the result was the same.

I attach my Papyrus log. Anyone can tell me how to fix those errors?

That has to be the cleanest log I've seen on LL.

  1. You're missing FNIS scripts.
  2. po3_sksefunctions.pex is missing. Required by DAK_Quest.
  3. oslaroused_main is looking for a missing native function called GetMinLibidoValue.
