Allnarta Posted June 24 Posted June 24 So, I got one of the most amazing, wierd and delirious glitches I saw in my 15 years of modding BGS games, so Im probably forced to ask for advice. I got HD body mesh that is split into parts to support dismemberment (I know, sad, but until someone writes .dll that unlocks dismember support for HD meshes it's the only way). Generally, dismemberment works and all that and is fine, but... It has wierd mesh mismatch only under some circumstances. When I am located in open world (Commonwealth), it has this mesh parts shift glitch. Should I ender Diamond-City or any interiour - it suddenly fixes itself and everything is fine. Did anyone encountrered anything like this? Looks like in some absolutely magical way, being in open world cells breaks mesh, while when you are in interiour, it's fine. All screenshots are made during one game session. The ones where leg is fine are Diamond-City and cave (lesser world cells/interiours), the ones where leg is glitched are in open world Commonwealth. Yes, teleporting from interiour where leg is fine to open world breaks it immediately again. P.S. Body is horrendous because I tested sliders, don't mind it.
Allnarta Posted June 24 Author Posted June 24 Also it's noticable that distortion is different in different world parts. For example, leg is shifted one side in north part of the map and the other side in south part of the map. Looks like infamous "gaps" with hands and neck are because of this same reason, and that's why it often felt delirious when they appeared and dissapeared while mesh was not changed at all. Looks like it's some kind of global perspective distortion around wordspace or something.
4nln415 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I had something like that happened to me when I was playing around with GAPE but turns out if was because it didn't play with sliders for looksmenu everything was wrinkled
