A question about Mod Guard alert

Recommended Posts

The warning announcement on Sims After Dark Discord suggests:
If you downloaded these mods, DELETE THEM, RUN A VIRUS SCAN, and CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS.

They also write that you should be OK since ModGuard does block this type of malware, but a scan is probably a good idea any way.

And there have been several malware uploads like this the past week, so it's probably a good idea to be careful with mods by new creators for now (it's not just LL that's been affected), specially if the mods contain scripts (.ts4script file) which animations and cc almost never should.

I'm so glad I haven't downloaded from there in a while.. Hopefully the hack doesn't end up causing too much damage and people are able to get their accounts secured.
