DXing Posted June 16 Posted June 16 What the title says, there are some animations where the Sim's voice will be heard everywhere instead of just locally. I've been aware for some time that some animations do that, and I've even seen somewhere a while ago one animator themselves commenting on it, but I can't quite find any information on this. Basically, my question is what causes this issue? And if we're creating animations, how can we avoid it?
Mashugana Posted August 3 Posted August 3 I have been curious about this as well. There are a few animators that I will not have in my game because of it. I've dug around a few places hoping to find someone referencing it, but no luck yet.
Fobot Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It's not a bug. Sound events that are designed to be in CAS don't have proper effects (like applying positioning and stuff). Their name has "cas" in it, something like "vo_cas_trait_active" (right now it's plaguing every sim that has an active trait). To avoid this just replace those sound events with something else.
