xsixkillerx Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago So heres the scoop, I wanted a Frenchman's mask, and decided to make one myself, but I've run into a problem. Using just the head mesh, the mask doesn't conform to any facial features, staying static as some helmets do, which is obviously not what masks do. So I switched to the faceBones and copied them over to the mask, HOWEVER! When I do it that way, it floats around and lags behind like a broken tiddy mod! I've done the exact same process for some mods in Skyrim and they worked just fine so I know I'm working in the right direction, but I'm sure I'm missing a crucial step in the process for Fallout in particular. Looking at the game files has led me to deduce that I need two meshes, 1 for facebones, and 1 regular. I've made them using outfit studio, using both the Basehead and the faceBone, but now I'm stuck because I can't find any armor in the CK, or modded for that matter, that is actually using the faceBone meshes, they're just... there... taking up space... Outfit studio also refuses to load the trimorphs for the Basehead and the faceBones so I'm pretty sure that might also be contributing to my problem because I think that might be the culprit but I'm not sure. So what sort of nifscope/CK wizardry do I need to get this working?
