Blank calls

IDK if there is this same problem with the vanilla game, but it seems to only happen with my sim when she gets the webcam model career; after a certain point, she constantly gets calls, but when I get her to pick up the phone, nothing. And the call repeats. 

 

Anyone else has this problem?

Are you by any chance using Kinky World?
The Model/Actor careers are originally part of that mod. Parts of the model career work fine, as in uploading and making selfies, webcam sessions, etc., but the actor part of it has never been finished to this day. Blank calls (for filming opportunities) are exactly a telltale sign of that.

I believe, originally it was intended to give you the opportunity to join the actor career via a phone call (and also give you your film contracts), once you got far enough in the model career.

And no, there is no webcam model career in vanilla.

 

If you are not using Kinky World, maybe you have some custom careers for the NRAAS Careers mod in place? If someone based his custom career off the KW code, it ain't gonna work

As mentioned before, the feature never got finished before Oniki Kay retired. KatieP & Co want to fully implement it one day, but that will take a good while.
Until then I would ignore the modelling and actor career as they are unfinished.

The KW professions that fully work (with some caveats), are Whore, Brothel Manager with the attached jobs (Whore, Security, Janitor), and the included high school system with its attached jobs (Professor, Headmaster, Nurse, Janitor, Student).
