Duck Enjoyer Posted June 2 Posted June 2 [0.25] Duck's dubious tweaks to xp gain View File So, this mod does quite a few things: -Changes hidden achievements to give a 2% xp boost instead of 1% -Changes the quicktime minigame to give a 2% boost to xp instead of 1% -Halves the weekly decay of the quicktime minigame bonus  I added a second version of the mod that changes things further. Now your minigame combo buff doesn't decay, and it gives a 5% boost. Enjoy :3 Submitter Duck Enjoyer Submitted 06/02/26 Category Gameplay Changes & Events Requirements
gyg56 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 So I decided to try mods for the first time (I'm on version 0.23.6) and I loaded just this mod with the Mod Loader. It appears to build fine, the modded X-Change Life.html has the new code in it. I run the modded game and load my existing save file into it and when sitting on the start of day screen I get these errors:  I can't run the macro 'great-weekend-bonus' because it doesn't exist. I can't run the macro 'great-weekend-bonus-dynamic' because it doesn't exist. I can't run the macro 'great-weekend-bonus-score' because it doesn't exist. There isn't a temp variable named _great_weekend_bonus in this place. When I look at my stats, the Great weekend effect bonus I already had is not listed.  Does this mod not work with existing saves? Did I somehow do something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Duck Enjoyer Posted June 6 Author Posted June 6 Hmm, the mod shouldn't directly touch any of the great weekend bonuses, so it might fix itself by you just going clubbing again and getting it. It should work fine with existing saves since that's what I've done and haven't had any issues. I'll try looking into what caused that further

I have no idea why it is affecting it tho.Â
Duck Enjoyer Posted June 6 Author Posted June 6 Okay I did some testing, I have some ideas why it affects it. I created the mod with 0.24 in mind, so I used the playtests of that when coding it and it seems there were some conflicting changes. So good news is it will fix itself when the full release of 0.24 comes to everyone. Bad news, I'm too lazy to try to fix it for 0.23 when the issue is only relevant for a couple weeks more at max. The mod works fine otherwise so if you just avoid getting the great weekend bonus it should work as intended 1

nerb Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Just a heads up, the 0.25 update for this and save haley points metadata has the version listed as 0.25.0 which the modloader will complain is not the same as version 0.25. Not an actual error really, but removing the .0 from the end will make the loader stop complaining.
