Apparently, Paralives is a very mod-friendly game, and there’s already a dildo mod and a mod that removes the censorship. What mods would you like to see for Paralives?

 

My idea:
ParaSize A mod that introduces anal/vaginal stretching into the game. So there could be various dildos that you can only use once you’ve trained sufficiently with smaller ones. This mod could be expanded so that Paras with large penises only have sex with a Para who has stretched enough.

I've been messing around with the modelling, and someone added a "Bulge Slider" on the workshop.

 

I think the main barriers to adding "stretching" and the "training" would be the scripting, animation, and rigging side of things.

You can add meshes, but adding the extra armatures or "bones" to deform the player model around would be a bit more intricate.

Afaik, the official website says that script mods "aren't planned at the moment" but that FAQ page is a little out of date, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the actual modding tools don't quite reflect that statement anymore. Really excited to see how the modding scene goes for this game!

Just a basic prostitution mod where you can have a job as prostitute male or female.  
You can wait on the streets or be a call girl escort. NPC will also be able to do the same job and be used by the player.

Two things that caught my attention: animations recognize dynamic morphology, and modular data stucture for species. We may finally have a game that can properly handle furry mods, and not what's been the run in The Sims of "cross your fingers and pray the muzzles don't clip too outrageously". Hell, animations that work off key points instead of hard preset movement would solve for body mods that go beyond the game's default scales. No more phasing through huge breasts pls.

 

To build on UpDn86, futa-on-futa with actual vaginas. The biggest obstacle to full-package in the Sims is all the animators working from "industry standard" positioning, but if animations work off bones, you can nudge the model without having to render a dedicated sequence to account for offsets.

On that topic, I'd love any and all incest modifications! First that comes to mind is incestuous relationships when creating households.

Would love to see a dedicated forum for Paralives, too. Saw there's a couple of interesting-looking mods on Steam already, but I'm guessing a full WickedParas-type mod would likely fall foul of Steam's rules?

 

Re the last couple of posts - there isn't (currently) a family tree function in Paralives, so you should be OK for the time being ;)

You can select if your para can impregnate or be impregnated, but unlike Sims you can't flag both. That'd be a good start.

I saw an incest mod getting posted on the Steam Worskshop and being promptly deleted, which was expected but so sad. I just want an incest mod! I would expect firstly one that allows incestuous relationships at all first, then ideally an incest mod will get made that comes with new emotions and together cards... ❤️

hi. that mod was mine! 👉🏻👈🏻 i tried uploading it to nexus after the devs banned it from the workshop but they banned me there too, hah... it was a super simple mod deleting a couple conditions to make it possible... i'd love to add things like:

incest-specific together cards, some silly like the alabama and washing machine memes, and some more serious like "worry about friends' reaction" etc. ideally also other paras would react to the incestous relationship once they learned about it... but thats sth im not confident in making just YET with my barebones skills.

 

atm it's still sitting on my hard drive, waiting for a place which won't ban me after uploading it lol

Sorry, haha, I wrote that comment before I managed to properly lurk around and get acquainted with what's being posted here. Super happy to hear that.

 

Re: the actual topic of this thread, I'd love to see a brothel/porn career or potentially a camgirl/camboy freelancing from home, especially considering how modern and down-to-earth this game feels in its career roster (Software Development instead of "Tech Guru"). Any and all bdsm items and animations would also be suuper welcome in my book.

Another request here for a dedicated Paralives forum. This game is fantastic for modding, much better than the Sims 4, and the learning curve is nothing. I really hope more people pick it up because it's a great sandbox.

 

Since a few people have mentioned "WickedPara", I'm officially throwing my hat in the ring. I'm an experienced Sims 4 modder (under a different name for obvious reasons) and have started working on some things for Paralives. What I'm aiming for to start with is a modular system like WickedWhims, where the mod provides a framework for custom content like animation packs. I'm still discovering what can be done with scripting in this game, but so far I have a rudimentary but functional physical attraction system that uses hair colour, hair length, glasses/no glasses, body hair, and facial hair. Also open to hearing ideas.
