JFDNF4 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Hey all. I've been trying to get DKnight13's Alcina Dimitrescu outfit to work, but this file is giving me a unique issue. In bodyslide and in game the chest is missing textures and there's a grey square under them. I have plenty of different 3BA outfits installed and none of them have had this issue. Anyone know what might be causing this?
traison Posted May 7 Posted May 7 You've somehow managed to make the virtual collision mesh visible. 1

traison Posted May 7 Posted May 7 They're supposed to be visible in Outfit Studio and BodySlide. I haven't looked into how those virtual collision meshes are typically hidden in-game, so I would start with a known-good outfit and copy the properties from there using NifSkope. If I had to make a guess right now I'd say the collision meshes have the Hidden flag set. 1

If you know how to use Nifskope you can load your bodyslide mesh and go to the ground and the collision mesh and and right click on the BSlightingshaderproperty and select Block then remove branch. Use only remove branch. Then save the file. 1
JFDNF4 Posted May 7 Author Posted May 7 Coming back after a crash course with Nifscope: Traison's solution is the closest to the best outcome. There were no shader properties for both VirtualGround & Virtual Body, but flagging them both as hidden at least makes them semi-usable. The clipping for the legs kinda sucks, but I guess I'll just put up with it.

See my paper on finding physics presets in my signature if you need help with that. You're looking for the SMP physics preset associated with the outfit specifically.
