Patch 193 and Incestuous Marriage

Swinging back into the game after the Royalty update reworked how family relations are processed, it looks like we lost the exploit where family in a romantic relationship could engage and marry: even with incest mods, the options to propose, wed, and elope have disappeared. I haven't done extensive testing, but taking one married couple and making them blood relations nixed the marriage on the next load, similar to this post.

 

I'm presuming this is down to Patch 193 nominally blocking courtship between "close relatives". Has anyone looked into the code to see if this can be countermanded?

Exactly the same problem here, marriages don't work up to second cousin, basically, if you are more than "distant relatives"

I fixed the issue! So here is how I did it for anyone who is struggling!

I went into cas and uploaded the household, then I changed the relationships between the two new sims and deleted the old ones. They kept all their skills and jobs as well. Minus than the lost of a few relationships I didn’t really care about its a perfect copy!
